Kew is a Melbourne suburb located east of the CBD within the City of Boroondara. It was home to some notable Australians including athlete, Cathy Freeman, comedian, Barry Humphries and politicians, Josh Frydenberg and Gough Whitlam. For many residences in the area a prized personal space is the balcony due to proximities to leafy surrounds and views of the CPD.
Project Design Brief
For the balcony of a new private residence, a linear drain was required to ensure surface water could be properly managed during wet weather. The drain needed to be compact and have slip resistant grates.
