Playhouse Apartments, Abbotsford, VIC
Playhouse Apartments is a new residential complex in an inner city suburb of Melbourne,located near the Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre. The development overlooks the Yarra River providing exceptional water views and has direct access to the walking and cycling tracks in parkland surrounding the river. The complex is marketed to young professionals with a focus on health and fitness.
Project Design Brief
Designers incorporated a pool into the complex and required a shallow depth drainage system to fit into the tile bed. The drain needed to be corrosion resistant to withstand the chemicals used in the pool and a foot friendly and slip resistant grate was necessary for the residents’ safety.
